The infinite dimension: Mind

Want to experience the infinite dimension?
Explore your mind!

The mind is one of the greatest mysteries.

It's physical form is the brain, yet it's not physical.

While the brain is 3 dimensional, that isn't the case for the mind.

It appears to be in the infinite dimension.

That is why we can't fully comprehend it.

Imagination

If you exist in the 2nd dimension, you can move up, down, right, and left

You can't comprehend what is front and backward.

If you can, then you broke the 2nd dimension.

Imagination is the way we can break 3rd dimension.

You can currently imagine the fourth dimension.

Time traveling is an example of the fourth dimension.

While we can imagine it, we can't physically experience.

This is the power of the mind.

An idea is something that has multiple dimensions but not physically.

A connection between ideas also increases its dimension.

Think of two ideas as two parallel lines that exist in the 2nd dimension.

Once connected you create the 3rd dimension, hence the idea becomes more complex.

The higher the dimension of an idea, the more complex it gets.

Conscious vs Subconscious

The reason why you can't fully understand a topic or why an idea emerged is because it was formed in the subconscious.

Subconscious is where the infinite dimension exists.

Think of it as a big library, which is infinite.

The way this library was built is by two ways, by absorbing information and making connections.

The more you absorb and make connection, the more you increase the dimension, hence why its infinite dimension.

The conscious is the opposite, it performs on much fewer dimensions.

When in need of something, the subconscious passes the right information in condensed form.

This way we can perform tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If we were only able to consciously navigate through the subconscious…

Writing

While all this may seem random information, it perfectly links to writing.

Writing is about how well can you condense an idea in your subconscious into a writing while preserving its dimensions as much as possible.

Reading is about absorbing that writing and decipher it to its original dimensions.

The more dimension you preserve, the more impact you will leave on the reader.

But it also depends on the dimensions the reader currently has.

If the reader doesn't have the enough knowledge to understand it, it is not absorbed well.

If the reader has way more knowledge on that topic, it is just useless information.

So we want to be in between.

Always know your target audience.

Assume they know little about the topic, and raise their awareness before diving in.

When writing, think of ways you can make it more compact and impactful.

You want to leave a strong impression on the reader.

Something as small as 5 minutes could be the difference between a stranger remaining a stranger and a stranger becoming a fan.

This is why great writers like Dan write so well, they know the dimensions of their readers.

The moment your target audience learns you know them better than they do themselves, they will become a fan.

That's all for today.
